To follow or not to follow

Used the nofollow? Suffer at the your other links ...
It seems that Google started to notice the negative effects of too much to encourage the use of nofollow. Do not trust the end of a side? You do not want spam in the comments / forum? And can you sell links, and are afraid to be penalized for it by Google? If any of these questions answered in the affirmative, it was magic nofollow through which the link marked with this attribute was ignored.
That was once ...

At some point, began to arrive at a situation where the base web - or links - and thus the basis for ranking by Google, instead of simply petrified to develop. Web users recommended the site, but in fear of a variety of penalties (eg, filters) began to increasingly use this attribute, prohibiting the robots take them into account in determining the position.

On the other hand, webmasters have control over the flow of PR and, therefore, the only links are dofollow links to their own sites or to sites friendly. After age 10, of links, including only 1 to pozycjonowanej, their power was spread not only all of the 10 were given this one single page.

For some time could be a situation in which Google takes into account only the links inserted by the positioners to promote their sites such as at the back, because only they are dofollow links, and an even with a perfectly chosen anchorami ;-)
So it will be now ...

But perhaps it's time for change. Do not want to pass by the parties to the Link? He, too, nothing will get. Given these links, and already 10 this is only 1 dofollow, the latter does not pass the full value of only 1 / 10. What about the rest? Remaining value may simply disappear.

Below is an excerpt from Lisa Barone interview with Matt Cutts:

It seems like you supported PageRank sculpting a year ago and now it seems like you do not support it anymore. Why is that and will it become a negative indicator?

No, it will not hurt your site. You can do your links however you want. You can use it to eliminate links to sign in forms and whatnot, but its a better use of your time to fix your site architecture and fix the problem from the core. Suppose you have 10 links and 5 of them are nofollowed. There's this assumption that that the other 5 links that ALL get PageRank and that may not be as true anymore (your leftover Rank will now "evaporat," says Matt.). You can not shunt your PageRank where you want it to go. It's not a penalty. It's not going to get you in trouble. However, it's not as effective. It's a better use of your time to go make new content and to all the other things. If you're using nofollow to change how PageRank flows, it's like a band-aid. It's better to build your site how you want PageRank to flow from the beginning.

If these changes actually take effect, someone malicious could begin quite actively comment on my blog for example, inserting the address of each comment (nofollow default) just to reduce the value of dofollow links. Such a solution would of course also a lot of advantages and they are really important. First of all, webmasters cease to abuse the nofollow and among the most natural linksĀ  power, as it should look like a long time.
Updated:

We were finally to take a position on this issue by Matt Cutts'a. On his blog, he wrote that the reported changes were introduced the nofollow in over a year ago, but they have not been observed by webmasters. Matt still recommends the use of this attribute in the internal links, but only when they lead to sub-pages that should not be in the index, so that its sub-sites, according to the regulations, privacy policies, etc. should continue to lead dofollow links, because they are less or more valuable to Internet users.

However, it does not encourage to control the flow of PR within the page. He believes that a better way to do that is to reflect on the deployment and insertion of links on the main page only the most important pages. Still, this should mean an attribute of external links, for which there is a trust, including paid links. Matt writes that:

if a link on your website is internal (that is, it points back to your website), let it flow PageRank-no need to use nofollow. If a link on your website points to a different website, much of the time it still makes sense for that link to flow PageRank. The time when I would use the nofollow are when you can not or do not want to vouch for a site, eg if a link is added to an outside user that you do not particularly trust.
